Pirelli Opens First Performance Center in the Philippines

MANILA: Yes, it is true, the Philippines now is the home to Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli. For those who are not aware of the renowned tire brand, it's the same brand that that supports zooming F1 cars on the track. And now with its presence in the Philippines land, locals gets a chance to pamper their car with the best in class tires.

How Pirelli tires are better over the regular tires is a question that is but obvious to erupt in the minds of many, as these tires are expensive over the ones we regularly use for our cars. Well, it's not just the brand value that contributes to its price but it is the amount of quality, precision, and individuality given to each tire that justifies its heavy price tag.

To its wide range of product line-up are now inserted two new premium tire range -

1. Pirelli Dragon Sport, Asia-Pacific Only:

The Dragon Sports range are specifically designed tires for dry braking needs, wet and dry driving conditions. These tires are infused with lightweight UHP compound and unique contour that not only help to create better balance but also improves its contact area. The said tires are manufactured at company's Yanzhou Plant and for now are available in 16 size ranges, and more are expected to launch in the following months.

2. Pirelli P Zero:

The said vehicle support system is made from Pirelli’s highest standard compound, material, production process and R&D technology. These tires guarantee to provide maximum stability irrespective of the vehicle speed and driving conditions. One will also find them infused with features like reduced noise, wider channels, flatter footprint, 15% less rolling resistance, and extended range profile. Currently, the P Zero lineup is available in three trims - for saloon cars, sports cars, and slick tires. Just for the added information Pirelli P Zero tires accompany the likes of Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 and 2016 Ford Mustang Rocket Speedster.

In addition to its long array of tire lineup, Pirelli Performance Centre with its well-trained technicians and best-in-class equipment will also be providing facilities like -

• Tire mounting and dismounting
• Camber Alignment
• Balancing and suspension
• Comfortable customer lounge

On this occasion Aleksandar Gramatikov, Pirelli South Asia Managing Director said, “What you get is the Pirelli experience. What you see here is not just a tire shop. We brought the Pirelli Performance Center to the Philippines to change the concept of tire changing and all the services associated with it. You get into the Pirelli world just by changing the tires."

As for now, Pirelli Performance Center is located at Kamuning Road, Quezon City and in upcoming months new centers will be inaugurated in Cebu and Mindanao as well.
