VinFast inks agreement with 29 aftersales partners

MANILA: VinFast has forged alliances with 29 aftersales partners to establish numerous electric vehicle (EV) service workshops in various parts of the world.

In a statement, the Haiphong-headquartered marque shared that the signed memoranda of understanding with these partners shall ensure the workshops meet VinFast’s global standards in their respective markets. These will be carried out by offering uniform, high-quality service through globally-standardized technician training and certification programs as well as consistent operating procedures and quality control systems.

These soon-to-rise facilities are expected to guarantee sufficient parts supply—with common spare parts targeted to be delivered within 24 hours in key markets.

Per VinFast, its latest expansion thrust forms part of its long-term strategy to develop a comprehensive EV ecosystem aligned with its international standards, covering aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support.

Additionally, the move is eyed to further boost the transition to electric mobility while ensuring VinFast customers receive support throughout the entire product lifecycle.

As of last year, VinFast already had nearly 400 service workshops in Vietnam—bringing its total global network to nearly 800 facilities.

In line with this, the firm bared its plan to have 1,100 service workshops worldwide come end of 2026—spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The network will be placed through various models, including dealerships serving retail customers, fleet and transportation business clients, and third-party local service workshop partners.

Recently, VinFast bared its plan to establish motorcycle dealerships in the Philippines prior to the launch of its initial electric two-wheeler roster for the local market.
