PH dealers group’s September 2026 YTD sales hit 332K-unit mark

MANILA: Sales of the Philippine Automotive Dealers Association (PADA) surpassed the 332,000-unit mark as of September 2026.

According to its report, the group collectively sold 332,199 vehicles to buyers—including BYD’s sales figures from January to July 2026.

This figure is higher than the combined sales reported by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) over the same period. To note, the two groups collectively delivered 307,060 vehicles during the first nine months of 2026.

Majority of PADA’s vehicle sales over the first three quarters came from the commercial vehicle segment, which accounted for 244,821 units. Meanwhile, the organization recorded 63,681 passenger car sales. However, neither figure includes BYD’s output in the respective categories.

Leading PADA’s sales performance from January to September this year was Toyota, with 151,457 units delivered to customers. Mitsubishi followed with 50,201 units sold.

Although its sales report only covers January to July, BYD already ranked third, with 23,697 units sold.

Rounding out the top five were Suzuki and Ford, which retailed 13,767 and 10,704 units, respectively.
