VinFast Limo Green

Inside, the VinFast Limo Green comes with a minimalist cabin that looks utilitarian and modern at the same time. It offers adequate room for seven passengers. Its seats are also decently padded for its price. On top of this, it comes with an expansive trunk area, giving you 1,248 liters of maximum space with the second- and third-row seats folded. And for convenience, there are USB charging ports for both front and rear passengers.

Up front, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display serves as the centerpiece of its dashboard. This display functions as both the driver’s instrument panel and the entire cabin’s infotainment system. Its infotainment system is connected to a 4-speaker sound system and is equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The majority of the car’s interior features are also controlled through this display, which might be a bit of an issue for drivers and passengers accustomed to physical buttons and knobs. On the plus side, its interface is easy to understand and is fairly responsive. 

For starters, the VinFast Limo Green measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,729 mm in height. This EV has a wheelbase of 2,840 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. 

This MPV features a hypermodern fascia, accentuated by a pair of slim LED DRLs that stretch towards the chrome garnishes surrounding the VinFast emblem. Underneath, its LED headlamps are finished in a polygonal-like shape. And, for a hint of sportiness, it comes with a blacked-out lower grille. Meanwhile, its silhouette looks slightly more like an SUV than a traditional MPV. Its side profile is defined by sleek curves, blacked-out finishes, and a dynamic-looking set of 18-inch wheels. 

Moreover, its sporty, hypermodern personality carries over to the rear, highlighted by its sleek tail light bars and a roof-mounted spoiler with a third brake light, offering increased visibility at all times. Additionally, side contours with a black mesh-like pattern add more detail to its overall appearance on the road. Overall, the Limo Green’s design looks quite premium for its market positioning.

In terms of suspension, the VinFast Limo Green is equipped with MacPherson Struts at the front and a Multi-Link at the rear. This setup is credited for this MPV’s good absorption of bumps and other minor road imperfections. In the city, it also handles decently for its size. That said, its suspension is tuned more for comfort than performance, providing everyone on board with a supple riding experience.

The VinFast Limo Green runs on a single permanent magnet synchronous motor generating a maximum power output of 150 kW (201 hp) and a maximum torque output of 280 Nm. Its motor is powered by a 60.13-kWh battery that offers a 450-km NEDC driving range (on a full charge) and supports fast charging time of 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes. It is equipped with two driving modes, Eco and Normal, and utilizes a front-wheel drivetrain.

The Limo Green’s electric powertrain offers smooth and peppy power delivery. It feels quick for its size, yet remains refined even at high speeds thanks to its impressive NVH suppression system. Its range is also sufficient for daily people-hauling in the city. However, it would be better to plan carefully if you are considering bringing this on out-of-town trips.

In terms of braking, the VinFast Limo Green comes with ventilated discs at the front and regular discs at the rear. Its braking setup is supported by an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. This MPV is also equipped with four airbags, ISOFIX child anchors, a tyre pressure monitor, and an immobilizer with a security alarm, among others.

In my opinion, the VinFast Limo Green is a game-changer in the ride-hailing industry. It effectively accommodates more passengers while delivering cost-effective and eco-friendly mobility.
