Radar Auto PH gets rebranded, brings Chinese name in PH

MANILA: United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI) has adopted the global identity of Riddara after the marque carried the Radar name in the Philippines in about a year’s time.

In a statement, UAAGI Auto Group-led distributor of shared that the move is aligned with the initiative of advancing the Geely Auto sub-brand’s mission of “accelerating global market penetration and long-term international competitiveness.”

As result, the Riddara name shall be displayed across dealerships, brand and marketing communications.

To note, Riddara entered the local market via the Radar EV name in October 2025.

“Our customers chose this EV pickup for the outstanding value and performance it delivers, and that remains unchanged. Adopting the RIDDARA name aligns our Philippine operations with the brand’s global identity and reinforces our commitment to the strength, technology, and innovation behind it,” UAAGI Auto Group Chairman Rommel Sytin was quoted as saying.

“This marks a defining step forward for the brand’s development, further strengthening its global presence and setting the stage for its next phase of growth in the Philippine market,” he added.

 Although the brand was renamed, UAAGI Auto Group assured that it will continue to offer aftersales services to its existing customers since all owner and vehicle records are carried over unchanged, and aftersales, warranty, parts, and dealer support remain active.
