Radar RD6 Econ Review 2025
Abhishek Katariya says
The Radar RD6 Econ is a mid-sized electric pickup truck manufactured by Geely’s Riddara brand. The vehicle combines the utility of a pickup truck with the comfort, refinement, and zero-emission benefits of a green vehicle. The Econ model in particular is positioned as a more affordable pure-electric version as opposed to hybrid or plug-in models). The 2025 Radar RD6 Econ officially debuted in the Philippines in October 2025.
Radar RD6 Econ Interior & Features
The 2025 Radar RD6 Econ gets faux-leather upholstery. The door panels, central console, and dashboard get a mix of soft-touch materials. Hard plastics are present on the upper dashboard area. Some surfaces feel premium. The dashboard gets a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the higher versions with Apple CarPlay and Carbit Link. It’s connected to an eight-speaker audio system. Android Auto is limited to the higher trims. Some models get a head-up display (HUD). The 10.2-inch full colour digital instrument panel gets configurable display. Dual-zone automatic climate control is available in the top-level trims. Large glass surfaces and panoramic roof in higher models make the cabin spacious.
RD6 Econ Exterior
The 2025 Radar RD6 Econ measures 5,260 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,730 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. Large air-intake decorations and fog lamps are integrated into the lower front area. On the sides, the pickup truck gets pronounced wheel arches. Roof rails or luggage rack are provided. The chrome trim around the window frames and doors in higher trims adds visual polish. A light bar stretches across the back with a central RADAR logo. The taillights in some models have X-shaped brake lights. The unibody construction lends the 2025 Radar RD6 Econ better stiffness. The cargo bay gets a bed liner that resist corrosion and help in easy cleaning. There’s tailgate-assist for easier raising and lowering of the cargo bed.

The rear seats feels a bit more upright and less cushioned. Ride comfort is strong. The 2025 Radar RD6 Econ is mounted on an independent McPherson-strut front and multi-link rear suspension. Rough urban roads are handled with composure. Harshness is minimal. The suspension system’s tuning balances comfort and firmness. While body roll is present, it never unsettles the occupants or the cargo. Handling is competent for a pickup truck. The steering is well-balanced and precise. The short turning radius aids in manoeuvrability. There’s some understeer when the truck is fully loaded.

While the safety apparatus is almost exhaustive, the 2025 Radar RD6 Econ misses out on some advanced radar-driven features.
