TRB allows toll collection for CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B

MANILA: Toll collection for the final segment of the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) C5 Link will start tomorrow.        

In a statement, the Metro Pacific Tollway Corporation (MPTC) made the announcement saying that it has received authorization to collect payments for the aforementioned expressway’s Segment 3B. The aforementioned portion has been opened to motorists since March 30 and has provided free passage to nearly 9,000 motorists every day.

This portion of the expressway connects CAVITEX to C5 Road in Taguig City, which has resulted to a reduced travel time from the usual one hour and half to 15 minutes.

Following the said announcement, motorists need to pay the following rates when using the CAVITEX C5 Link from Taguig to Sucat Road or vice versa, inclusive of Segment 3B rates:

Meanwhile, those coming from Taguig going straight to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote need to pay the rates below:

Aside from providing access to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and C5 via interchanges at the R1 Expressway (Coastal Road), Sucat Road (Dr. A. Santos Avenue), and C.P. Garcia Avenue, CAVITEX also strengthens the logistics link between the Cavite industrial hubs and the commercial centers in the National Capital Region.
