Volvo PH holds hybrid, EV test drive event at BGC

MANILA: To sprinkle some added fanfare to this year’s Valentine’s Day weekend celebrations, Volvo Cars Philippines has kicked off a test drive event at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) until February 16, 2025. 

The models accessible to the public at the said event will include its entire lineup of mild hybrid and fully electric rides. Per the marque, the test drive opportunity at BGC is set to highlight the brand’s focus on sustainability, comfort, and safety. 

Specific models available to see and try out by the public at the Volvo Valentine’s Day test drive event at BGC include the following:

• XC90
• EC40
• EX40
• EX30

Additionally, the Swedish marque’s local arm is making it easier for would-be buyers to take home one of its cars through exclusive offers. The aforementioned are available only until February 15, so folks wanting to make their Valentine’s Day truly memorable by driving home a Volvo shouldn’t miss this chance. 

To note, the latest model in the brand’s lineup is the EX30 - a fully electric sub-compact five-seater crossover currently priced at P2.99 million. 

Appearance-wise, the EX30 assumes the current Volvo design language. It bears a pair of “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlamps, a sleek-looking closed-off grille, a set of 19-inch geometric wheels, and a generous amount of blacked-out exterior trim pieces. 

Inside, the model comes with features such as recycled upholstery, power-adjustable seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, and a wireless charging tray - among others.
