PIAA enters PH motorcycle aftermarket scene with 220R introduction

MANILA: PIAA has officially launched the 220R lamps in the Philippine market.

Developed in close coordination with its local arm, the PIAA 220R is the brand’s first-ever product specifically intended for the two-wheel market.

Specifications

Measuring 56 millimeters, the PIAA 220R is a two-colored motorcycle lamp that has three options (pure white, pure yellow, and white and yellow). Each lamp can dish out 2,300 lumens. The peak luminous intensity of the white is at 29,400 candela (cd) while the all-weather, 27,300 cd.

It features the PIAA original design with non-IP infringing LED chip with one control unit for the two lamps.

The wire that is packaged with the PIAA 220R lamp is compatible with nearly all motorcycles — from scooters to big bikes. Also, it can be easily adjusted as the lighting has four-way flexible mountings too.

Further, PIAA’s newest product has a fan-less cooling system, which, as PIAA claimed, makes it more durable and has zero risk of fan failure.

“We’re very proud to be one of the first countries to introduce this product. It is designed for practically every kind of rider — from small bikes and scooters to the big bikes with special size requirements for lamps,” Gen Tiu of PIAA Philippines said in an interview with Zigwheels Philippines.

The PIAA 220R is priced at P6,360 per set.
