Teaser out for the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag
MANILA: Ducati, the Italian bike manufacturer has recently released the teaser video for its upcoming Scrambler Hashtag on its webpage. By the visuals of it, the Ducati Scrambler Hashtag looks inspired by the Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 model.

The body of this motorbike features a blacked out scheme with the “Scrambler Ducati” badge on either side of the fuel tank. Its alloys, frame, exhaust, and seats are all painted in black to compliment the body. The single-seat used in the Scrambler Hashtag is inspired by the Scrambler Desert Sled motorcycle.

The Ducati Scrambler Hashtag is powered by a 399cc L-twin Desmodromic engine, allowing it to deliver a maximum power of 40.3 hp at 8750 rpm and a peak torque of 34.3 Nm at 7750 rpm. The mechanics are not that impressive when compared to the Scrambler Icon, which carries an 803cc engine and is capable of delivering a maximum power of 73.41 hp along with a peak torque of 67 Nm.
The Scrambler can be bought only online from its official website and will be available for sale only in European countries like Italy, Germany, France, Portugal and Spain for now.
In order to buy the Scrambler Hashtag online, you will have to book it online by paying an initial deposit of £500 (approx. ₱36,200). On payment of the initial deposit, you will be receiving a voucher which you will need to take to the nearest Ducati showroom to get your very own Ducati Scrambler Hashtag. The price of the bike is £6,990 (approx. ₱506,000).
It is unclear as to when Ducati will launch the Scrambler Hashtag in the Philippines. If and when it is launched, the bike would be competing with the likes of Triumph Daytona 675R and Honda NC700X.
