Vespa Mall of Asia aims to create 'enthusiast community' for Italian scooter brand

MANILA: A new Vespa dealership opens in SM Mall of Asia, coinciding with Vespa's 75th anniversary this year. 

The new dealership in Pasay City aims to create a Vespa enthusiast community by carrying premium units, and introducing a VIP Membership Card and a Sunday Coffee Club for its clients, the brand said in a release. 

The VIP Membership Card offers to Vespa clients discounts for parts and services availed at Vespa Mall of Asia.

“When they purchase a unit from us, they are automatically part of the VIP Club," Moto Filiale Co-Director Alex Ching said. Moto Filiale is Vespa Mall of Asia's parent company. 

"For those with existing Vespa units, they just have to accumulate at least P10,000 worth of purchase from our services, parts, and accessories to get a VIP card.

Benefits include up to 10% discount on parts and accessories and up to 15% discount on services here at Vespa Mall of Asia,” he added.

As for the Sunday Coffee Club, Vespa Mall of Asia sees to launch the gathering in January 2022.

“The idea is every Sunday, those who ride to Mall of Asia using their Vespa scooters get free coffee and they also get to chat with other Vespa owners to share tips with each other,” Bon Ramos of Moto Filiale said. 

"We also want to give our customers the full package starting with outstanding after-sales support, introducing them to the Vespa community, and providing them with the ultimate Vespa experience,” he added. 

Vespa is an Italian scooter brand, whose products feature engines ranging from 125cc to 300cc. As part of Vespa’s 75th anniversary, it recently launched a new edition of Vespa GTS in 300cc and the Vespa Primavera series in both 150cc and 300cc.
