VinFast launches 4 e-scooter models

MANILA: VinFast has launched four new electric scooter models in Vietnam.

According to the electric mobility brand, three of the four support battery swapping, while the other is a pedal-assisted model that features a compact design suitable for high school students.

Battery swappable e-scooters

Called the VinFast Feliz II, Evo, and Viper, these three models all have two underseat battery slots for convenient battery swapping, as well as simple removal and installation. Each battery has a capacity of 1.5 kilowatt-hour (kWh) and uses LFP technology for high durability and safety.

The VinFast Feliz II and the Viper have an in-hub motor with a maximum output of 3,000 watts (W). Meanwhile, the Evo has an in-hub motor with a maximum output of 2,450 W.

Both electric motors are capable of achieving a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour (kph).

With two fully-charged batteries, the VinFast Evo can travel up to 165 kilometers (km) under standard conditions, while the Viper and Feliz II can travel up to 156 km under standard conditions.

Pedal-assisted e-scooter

The VinFast Amio features an in-hub motor with a maximum output of 800 W. It can also achieve a top speed of 30 kph.

One LPF battery with a capacity of 1.024 kWh can provide the model with a maximum range of 65 km per full charge under standard conditions.
