    BMW i8 Engine & Fuel Consumption

    The foundation of one of the most innovative cars is led by an effective petrol engine coupled to a powerful electric motor, which together drives the car swiftly. The electric drive is situated at the front axle which churns out a maximum power of 131 hp while the 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 231 hp at 5800 rpm coupled with a peak torque of 320 Nm at 3700 rpm. Despite having a potent engine and sporty styling, BMW i8 emits the lowest carbon emission with a value of 59 g/km.

    i8 Braking & Safety

    A safety system that is perfectly tailored to the vehicle in an effective manner. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Cornering Brake Control (CBC) give a superior adhesion even on the wettest terrains. The anti-dazzle high beam assistant detects other vehicles on the road and selectively excludes them from the high beam headlight distribution. The car has been embedded with optimally situated airbags that ensure maximum safety of passengers in case of a collision. In addition to this, camera systems for Surround view and Side view with object detection offer maximum flexibility during parking.
