Among all the sub 200cc commuters which are usually styled conventionally, the CF Moto 150 NK has a sort of aggressiveness in its overall design, which makes it look sharp and from one segment above.

The front of the CF Moto 150 NK comes with a rakish headlamp design, which is an all-LED unit along with full LED turn indicators – a first in its segment. This all LED lighting not only makes it look premium, but also gives better illumination over regular halogens. The short front fender adds to the minimalist and sporty appeal when viewed head-on.

The side profile of the CF Moto 150 NK looks sharp and sleek, thanks to the sharply styled fuel tank with vertically downwards tank extensions. The exposed trellis frame, long alloy panel for footrest and the engine cowl do enhance the aggression and outright sporty character of the motorcycle, while the all-black theme for the engine make it look modern as well. To accentuate its slight sporty appeal, the CF Moto 150 NK has a split seat design that has nice width and cushioning.

The rear of the CF Moto 150 NK looks heightened and pointy, thanks to the raised tail section with a pointy LED tail lamp, large split pillion grab rails and big rear fender. The oversized pillion grab rails might look awkward at first, but then they are functional in long term usage.

For its category, the CF Moto 150 NK has a decent looking part digital instrument console, which comprises of a large analog tachometer and a rectangular LCD screen which displays speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, gear indicator and other telltale lamps. The digital readouts are too small and can be difficult to read on the go, especially in night. The single-piece handlebar and large rearview mirrors make the rider’s angle of view quite wide and sporty.

The CF Moto 150 NK has been given some fancy and fuss-free mechanicals, which include upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and mid positioned monoshock at the rear. For a 150cc motorcycle, this suspension setup is premium and thanks to its slightly stiffness in its feel, it feels sporty on the go as well and makes the 150 NK quite agile. Another premium bit on the motorcycle is the presence of disc brakes at both the ends.

The CF Moto 150 NK sources its power from a four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 149.4cc engine, which produces a maximum power output of 12 PS and a peak torque output of 10.7 Nm. While the figures might not seem too impressive for a 150cc engine, the mill pleases one with its ample mid-range which can make the city commutes a breeze to live with. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

Given its budgeted appeal, the CF Moto 150 NK, in order to keep its overall costs down, misses out on a number of crucial features, including the bare necessity of ABS. 

The CF Moto 150 NK is one easy motorcycle to live with if you are new to the world of motorcycles. The sleek and slim design of the 150 NK is easy to the eyes, however, the instrument console needs a redesigning process. For and urban slicker, the CF Moto 150 NK feels agile and direct to ride, with comfortable ergonomics with a pinch of sportiness. The performance is adequate for urban commutes, and we do wish it gets a bump in the power and torque outputs.
