Recent Updates of X-Cape
The 2022 Moto Morini X-Cape was recently revealed in the Malaysian market and it is scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2022. The 2022 X-Cape comes powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled two-cylinder engine that makes 59 hp of power and 56 Nm of torque. However, this updated variant is yet to arrive in the Philippines market. As of now, the X-Cape is available in a single ABS variant in the Philippines market and comes powered by a 649cc engine with 48 hp output. Standard features include 7-inch TFT display, full LED headlights, windscreen and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

The Moto Morini X-Cape features a futuristic and glance-worthy appearance with the Italian flair and the aggression of an ADV in its overall presentation. The bike gets the perfect adventure tourer design with the windshield and full LED headlights adding to its charm and boldness. The 7-inch TFT display which comes with Bluetooth connectivity adds a touch of modernism both in its appearance and functionality.
The bike stands tall and looks pretty bulky and muscular, perfectly fitting into the category of heavy adventure touring motorcycles. The design is definitely sharp with the right blend of ruggedness that highlights the true purpose and capabilities of the bike.
X-Cape Ride & Handling
The bike can be appreciated for its versatility, fun riding experience, and exceptional comfort of riding especially on off-roading terrains and the most difficult of roads. The large saddle space and ergonomics make for a comfortable experience. The large TFT screen offers comprehensive information about the bike’s vitals.
The bike offers great rideability with an upside-down (USD) telescopic front fork and rear single shock absorber taking on various road conditions pretty decently. The Trellis body frame offers durability and the seat height is 820 mm which makes it an easy ride even for the not-so-tall riders. The handlebars are positioned for great control and ease of handling and the bike is pretty stable around the corners as well.
With an overall length of 2190 mm and a height of 1390 mm, the bike is just perfectly cut out for adventure touring and gets a decent ground clearance of 175 mm to make it perfect for off-roading purposes. The wide tubeless tires make for added stability and better control. The bike gets spoked wheels which makes it a convenient and suitable adventure package while definitely adding to its ruggedness and adventure appeal.
Moto Morini X-Cape Engine & Fuel Consumption
The bike is powered by a Parallel Twin-Cylinder, 8 Valves, 4-Stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 649cc engine. The engine is capable and makes for an exciting riding experience producing 60.3 hp of power at 8500 rpm and 56 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. Paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, you get some raw power delivery and a top speed of around 175 kmph.
The acceleration is smooth and the adventure bike is a good ride for city roads, highways as well as off-road tracks, or no roads at all. The power delivery is pretty good through all RPM ranges and the characteristic refinement of the engine is impressive.
X-Cape Braking & Safety
