In terms of dimensions, the Suzuki GSX-8R measures 2,155 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1,135 mm in overall height, and 810 mm in seat height. It has a 1,465 mm wheelbase and a 145 mm ground clearance.

The Suzuki GSX-8R showcases a confident-looking motorsport design that is certainly a treat for eyes among track enthusiasts and regular riders alike. Its sharp, aggressive facade is illuminated by LED headlights and a position light. The riders are given a high-tech full LCD instrument panel, which displays the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge and the like, as well as forged aluminum handlebars. Its saddle is well-designed for touring comfort, ensuring that both the rider and the pillion are in a comfortable position even on long-distance trips. For more convenience, this sportbike is equipped with Suzuki’s Easy Start System.

The Suzuki GSX-8R is powered by a 776 cc, 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that produces a maximum power output of 83 hp and a maximum torque of 78 Nm. This middleweight sportbike comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh (manual) transmission gearbox. 

The GSX-8R delivers an impressive pull off the line. You will be able to easily overtake slower vehicles on free-flowing highways with this bike. And, like its cousins, this sportbike is also rider-friendly thanks to its equipment of Suzuki’s Clutch Assist System. You’ll also be able to effectively and efficiently filter through tight city traffic courtesy of its Low RPM Assist and fuel injection system. That said, this bike is very capable both on the race track and on the highway, yet remains refined and usable within the Metro.

The Suzuki GSX-8R is equipped with a suite of innovative electronic rider aids. This includes multiple riding modes, a traction control system, and a bi-directional quick shift system. Its braking setup is also supported by an anti-lock braking system. In terms of braking, it utilizes twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.

In my opinion, it delivers a higher value for money compared to other more expensive European sportbikes in the local market.
