We'd gone out to buy a Honda 125 City; we'd owned one before, which my wife and I both enjoyed riding around town for shopping and social visits. At our local Honda dealers, the staff were strangely off-hand, too busy with their coffee break to speak to us. We ended in the nearby Yamaha showroom, where staff happily set their coffee aside to attend to us. By lunchtime, they had a new one all prepped and road-ready. Although only 125cc, the Yamaha has plenty of power, even riding 2-up with baggage and shopping on the long uphill drag from Dumaguete to Valencia. A slight tendency to stall in very slow traffic was easily fixed during the free 1st service.
