Yamaha PH unveils new colors of Mio Gear in adventure-packed final leg of Moto Campground

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines wrapped off the adventure-packed Mio Gear Moto Campground series in Cagayan De Oro on November 25 to 27. Media partners, motovloggers, and Cagayanon Mio Gear riders were invited to the event that was loaded with grit to triumph in every task. In contrast to the earlier legs, the final battle consisted of a series of missions that each competitor had to complete in order to win. These missions were designed to test each participant's sportsmanship, social skills, and physical toughness.

To kick off the series, media and motovloggers competed to decipher the mystery kit that was delivered to their homes. The first task that needed to be completed in Manila is in the box. They were unaware that the mystery would continue to deepen as they approached Cagayan De Oro. The next tasks, which involved searching their assigned vehicle in sweltering heat, using their photography skills to look for specific tourist attractions in Gaston Park, eating exotic foods, and using their brains to solve a challenging puzzle, all tested their overall toughness.

Their teamwork was tested during the last mission. The life-sized mystery crate must be unlocked by each team. The newest colors of the Yamaha Mio Gear and Yamaha Mio Gear S were unveiled after the last padlock was fastened by the Media Team.

The four new colors have matte finish and less painted parts. They emphasize more of the motorcycle's flexibility, allowing customers to experiment with other designs and customize their bikes with additional equipment.

On the second day, all the participants organized into four different teams to face off against Dahilayan Park's exhilarating adventure and extreme rides. Every participant was focused on winning and ready to compete even though they had extensive rides ahead of them. Teams were positioned side by side and engaged in a battle to win the championship.

On the other hand, the Campfire night was all about unwinding and reflecting on what had transpired during the day. There were stories shared, battleground winners were awarded, and it was revealed who among the challengers stood out the most.

The three-day adventure showed how far Yamaha Motor Philippines can go to create an avenue to every rider across the Philippines. Since the previous legs in Zambales and Cebu, every Mio Gear rider participant has demonstrated their toughness by overcoming the obstacles. Owning a Yamaha Mio Gear entails more than just riding it; it is also about the “ready to play” character the rider creates as they go.
