Suzuki Philippines Incorporated has expanded its motorcycle lineup with the introduction of the Burgman 15.

For motorcycle buyers looking to get a new ride, here is a quick look at three reasons why they should consider the newly released model.

Intelligent features

One of the key reasons why motorcycle enthusiasts should look into the Suzuki Burgman 15 is its new intelligent features.

To begin with, the two-wheeler has a tire pressure monitoring system that helps in checking the air pressure on both of the tires. It eliminates the guesswork and makes preparing for both short and long rides easier. 

Should a low pressure be detected, the system immediately provides a visual warning and activates an alert.

In addition, it also has a full-color thin-film transistor panel with day and night mode, which helps maintain a clear visual of the important riding data when one is out on the road.

The Suzuki Burgman 15 also has an intelligent key system that allows owners to lock and unlock their motorbikes without using a physical key. It adds functions like an anti-theft alarm and an answer-back feature.

Lastly, the motorcycle has a set of charging ports that allow owners to juice up their electronic devices when they are out and about.

Reliable engine

Powering the Suzuki Burgman 15 is a four-stroke, two-valve, liquid-cooled 149 cubic-centimeter engine mated to an automatic transmission.

According to Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, it produces about 14 horsepower and 14 Newton-meters of torque. 

Fuel efficiency-wise, it clocks in at 43.6 kilometers per liter.

Suspension-wise, it uses a telescopic front fork and a sub-tank suspension at the back. Stopping power is facilitated by disc brakes with anti-lock braking all around.

Classy looks, premium finish

Unlike many of today’s small-displacement motorcycles that are packed with aggressive features, the Suzuki Burgman 15 looks elegant and classy.

At the fore is a triple-LED headlight setup, while the rear gets illumination with similar technology, as well as daytime running lights and flexible turn signals. 

It even has what the company calls “premium seats,” a flexible foot positioning, and comfortable rear footrests for the pillion rider. The tail of the motorcycle has a top box-ready carrier.

Suzuki Philippines Incorporated is selling the Burgman 15 for P165,000.
