Suzuki Access

In terms of dimensions, the Suzuki Access measures 1,855 mm in length, 690 mm in width, 1,155 mm in overall height, and 770 mm in seat height. This scooter also comes with a wheelbase of 1,260 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm.

The Suzuki Access features a neo-retro design that exudes a mix of youthfulness and class wherever it goes. Its cute fascia features a rectangular LED headlamp and a pair of polygonal signal lights. Placed above its new iconic position lamp is the Suzuki emblem. This scooter comes with round chrome mirrors for a classic touch. Underneath, it is fitted with a metal fender and a leg shield.

Meanwhile, its side profile displays a pleasing contrast of colours, highlighted by a brown saddle and footboard finished in either a cream-like or chocolate brown tone. This scooter runs on a 12-inch wheel at the front and a 10-inch wheel at the rear. A stainless steel muffler with a chrome plated cover also adds a hint of sportiness to its overall appearance on the road. 

Moreover, this scooter’s cute rear end is illuminated with a cube-like LED tail light and another pair of polygonal signal lights. Above its lights is a concealed tail-mounted fuel cap. The higher-spec features a Suzuki Ride Connect-compatible TFT instrument meter panel, while the Standard trim gets the analogue counterpart. Both trims, however, come with a front USB charging port. 

Aside from that, its wide seat is plush and supportive, even on longer rides. This scooter also comes with a pillion grab bar and a long floorboard, making stop-and-go traffic more tolerable for both the rider and the passenger. In terms of practicality, the Access offers a 24.4-L underseat compartment and dual front utility pockets.

The Suzuki Access comes with an oil-damped suspension setup consisting of a Telescopic Fork at the front and a Swingarm at the rear. Its whole setup also comes with coil springs. That said, this scooter is light and very nimble to maneuver through tight traffic and narrow parking slots. It also handles turns quite well and, at the same time, effectively absorbs light bumps and minor road imperfections in the city. However, it would not be advisable to ride this on bumpy, uneven roads with large humps and deep potholes.

The Suzuki Access is powered by a 124cc 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that produces 6.2 kW (8.3 hp) of maximum power and 10.2 Nm of maximum torque. This scooter comes mated to a continuously variable transmission system.

While its performance outputs may not induce excitement on the road, this scooter still has enough power and torque to get you from point A to point B on time and without spending too much money, thanks to its outstanding fuel efficiency. The Access boasts a 57.3 kmpL fuel consumption. Overall, this scooter still feels quite peppy because of its size, while its CVT is smooth and responsive.

In terms of braking, the Suzuki Access comes with a disc at the front and a drum at the rear. Its braking setup is supported by Suzuki’s Combined Brake System and Brake Lock System. This scooter is also equipped with a one push central lock system, a passing switch, as well as a hazard light.
