TTC to formally launch Chetak this month

MANILA: Following the acquisition of the distributorship rights for the local market, Trimotors Technology Corporation (TTC) will formally introduce the Chetak brand to the Philippine market this month.

The electric scooter is designed for urban mobility with performance, range, durability, and technology in mind. ,In a statement, the local distributor announced that the brand launch is set for July 25 by opening the marque’s first-ever showroom at Filinvest Corporate Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

How Chetak started
Named after fearless horse of Maharana Pratap, the name Chetak was the result of the partnership between Bajaj and Piaggio that started in 1972.
Their collaboration became big hit in India, thanks to its distinct look, all-metal construction, and unmistakable presence transformed it into one of the country's most beloved scooters.

According to TTC, the Chetak can go up to 73 kilometers per hour and ensures smooth, silent, and strong acceleration. Range can go cover up to 153 kilometers and its battery and electrical systems are IP67-rated.
Among the features that can be expected in the Chetak offerings are the full digital display, intelligent connectivity features to regenerative braking and varying ride modes.
