Lexus NX

The 2015 Lexus NX crossover has achieved a very good rating in crash-tests. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given the NX a five-star overall rating that includes four stars in frontal impact and five for side impact. It has managed to be in top-tier in occupant protection by the renowned Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) testing.

Moreover, Lexus NX comes fitted with eight standard airbags including front and side bags for the two front-seat passengers. It also features side-curtain airbags to cover the front and rear side windows. A driver's knee airbag and a new front-seat passenger cushion airbag has been included to provide all-round protection.

NX also offers Optional electronic safety features such as Pre-Collision Safety System, which senses collisions impending with any obstacles via sensors.
