With the help of his groundbreaking business, Peter Wilson, a British national who now calls the Philippines home, has led a new era in the country's electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Solarius EV Charging is a sister company of Solarius Energy that was established in 2017 as a solar installation company. Solarius EV Charging has quickly developed into the market's top provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, meeting the needs of both urban residents and property owners.

Wilson introduced Solarius EV Charging in 2022 leveraging the latest innovations and an in-depth understanding of the evolving electric vehicle industry. In October 2022, Solarius EV Charging installed three electric vehicle chargers at Fairmont Raffles Hotel in Makati — three in the VIP section and one in the basement parking.

Since then, Solarius EV Energy has rapidly dominated the industry, establishing a network of over 30 chargers at around 20 locations, including their flagship project at the Raffles Residences, which was their first foray into the condominium charging solutions.

With Solarius EV Charging's innovative approach, tenants benefit from the convenience of home charging and property owners open up a new source of income. If property managers decide to offer semi-private charging stations shared by multiple tenants, they may potentially be eligible for free electric vehicle chargers, reducing CAPEX costs.

Solarius EV Charging has ambitious plans for the future, which correspond to the recently passed Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) that mandates 5% of parking spaces in condominiums be set aside for electric vehicles.
