One such production from the fleet of French automotive manufacturer, Datsun is Redi-Go concept, which is all set to debut in the next couple of days, precisely on 14th April 2016. Showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the new entry level hatch is ready to entice the world with its compact design and splendor. Design

Being developed on the same Kwid’s platform, the automaker has done considerable part in granting the new hatch an individual appeal. However, dimensions are expected to remain same as that of Kwid. Aesthetically, the real model will carry majority of the styling cues from the concept version and would feature a roomy cabin in addition to a taller stance, which is unlike to its sibling, Kwid that holds an SUV-like structure. The smoother Redi-Go profile accounts for the vertical tail lights, high mounted rear windscreen and a noticeable kink on its shoulder line.

Powertrain

The official statement on the Redi-go powertrain is yet to be made by the company officials but according to the sources, it would underpin a 0.8-litre power mill as that of Kwid. In addition to this, it might get a 1.0-litre three cylinder that would pump out a max power of 55 hp. This engine is developed in-house by the Nissan Motor Company.

Price

The price is expected to be a competitive one as compared to the existing players of the market. But the point to be noted here is that the new hatch would definitely give a hard time to the rivals that are leading the charts right now.
