MANILA: The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) has confirmed that the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) is a go for October 22-24, 2026.

The upcoming 14th PEVS will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.The aforementioned was confirmed by the organization during a recent general membership meeting spearheaded by EVAP President and Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten.
Per EVAP, the 2026 edition of PEVS will still be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. For now, though, the full details of the event, such as participating brands and product launches, have yet to be confirmed.
Regardless, the PEVS, as we’ve seen from its historical iterations, is a celebration of electric mobility and sustainability. As such, we can expect it to function as the launch pad for the latest and greatest electrified or fully electric offerings from a variety of carmakers.

EVAP general meeting: other details
Apart from the confirmation of this year’s PEVS, EVAP’s general meeting likewise rang the action call of “confronting the roadblocks facing electric mobility.”
Per EVAP, this sentiment was heard by the appropriate audience, which consisted of “national regulators, charging network operators, banks and leasing firms, and infrastructure developers.

For the part of the aforementioned attendees, each also presented their unique sets of challenges and friction points, which, according to EVAP, are long overdue to be resolved by working with each other.
“For years, each part of this industry solved its own problems on its own,” EVAP President Willy Tee Ten said.
“What today showed is that the automotive companies, the regulators, the power sector, and the financiers are finally in the same conversation. That alignment is the precondition for everything else this industry wants to achieve,” Tee Ten added.
