Buencamino said the new charging stations are envisioned to support the growing number of EV users and encourage more Filipinos, especially those in the provinces, to switch to electric vehicles. She added that this is only the beginning, with more charging infrastructure planned for key cities as demand continues to rise.
“We want to break the misconception that EVs are only suited for city driving. By bringing these facilities closer to regional communities, we are sending a clear message: owning an EV is practical and sustainable, no matter where you live. With Robinsons Malls supporting this cause, we are confident we can bring this infrastructure to more people across the country,” she explained.
