ACMobility highlights EV charging solutions at 13th PEVS

MANILA:  ACMobility showcased its innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions at the recently-concluded 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

During the event, the Ayala Company’s mobility arm highlighted its cohesive ecosystem of home, public, and on-demand charging solutions attached to the Philippine EV Spine Network.

With a goal of putting up 700 charge points around the country by the end of 2025, ACMobility shared that it currently has more the 100 operational sites and 70 more coming soon.

“Energy means more than just power. It’s what gives every EV driver the confidence and freedom to keep moving forward,” ACMobility Infrastructure Head Carla Buencamino said.

“This energy fuels our goal to make electric mobility seamless, accessible, and sustainable for every Filipino,” she added.

Leading ACmobility’s EV charging thrust is Evro, an e-mobility platform that connects Filipino drivers to every charger, partner, and service all in one app. After a year, it already had more than 35,000 downloads and 25,000 registered users — representing around 80 percent of EV drivers nationwide.

Here are some updates given to the Evro app are as follows:

• Station Finder: allows users to search the Department of Energy-registered charging facilities. This includes those operated by ACMobility, Caltex, and Shell.

This also has Smart Filters to help users find stations compatible with their vehicles; One-Tap View and real-time Status Indicators to easily locate available chargers.

• MyCharge Planner: lets users plan smarter and charge only what they need. They simply need to select the car, set the current and target battery levels, and the tool provides an estimated charging amount based on the vehicle’s specifications under optimal charging conditions.
• GCash Link and Pay: Allows linked Evro accounts to advise users if their GCash account has sufficient funds for transactions. It does not have one-time-passwords nor delays with refund.
• Evro Charge Vouchers: this newly-launched in-app feature that lets users claim and redeem digital coupons that they can use at partner stations nationwide.

The Evro app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
