Another auto industry vet joins Astara PH lineup

MANILA: Astara Philippines continues to bolster up its executive team as Arlan Reyes joined the company to head Peugeot and Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) in the country.

The latest industry veteran who joined the global mobility firm’s local will be responsible for the thrusts of the Chinese automotive marque — the latest addition the company’s portfolio — in the local market as well as manage all initiatives for the French Lion brand.

Astara Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello is elated on with Reyes’ appointment as the latest member of the company.

“His rich experience and proven track record in the motoring industry make him the ideal leader for JMC and Peugeot under Astara Philippines. We look forward to achieving new milestone together and further solidifying our position as a key player in the automotive sector,” Picello was quoted as saying.

In a statement, Astara Philippines shared that Reyes’ appointment again underscores its determination to be the distributor of choice by prominent automotive brands — noting that it is “steadfast in its commitment to providing exceptional vehicles and services to the Filipino customer.”
