Aston Martin to showcase Valhalla with Glenfiddich at Monterey Car Week

MANILA: Aston Martin will be showcasing the Valhalla at the ongoing 2025 Monterey Car Week together with the multi-award-winning Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whiskey brand. 

The aforementioned was made possible through the new partnership between Aston Martin and Glenfiddich. To note, it is an expansion of Glenfiddich’s ongoing relationship with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. 

“We are delighted to extend our journey with Aston Martin beyond the Formula One team and into the world of Aston Martin high-performance luxury vehicles,” Glenfiddich Global Brand Director Claudia Falcone said. 

“To honor this shared spirit of transformation, Glenfiddich is introducing a curated pop-up whiskey tasting experience at The House of Aston Martin at Monterey Car Week, where Valhalla, Aston Martin’s first plug-in hybrid supercar, will take center stage. Valhalla embodies the same rarity, precision, and future-facing vision as the Glenfiddich 1976 Vintage,” Falcone added.

To celebrate the partnership, the Scottish whiskey company will be introducing the Glenfiddich 1976 - an exclusive and rare vintage with only 50 bottles available worldwide from The Distillers Library and The Glenfiddich Distillery. 

Beyond Monterey Car Week, the two companies will collaborate on exclusive products and experiences. 

Aston Martin Valhalla

The Aston Martin Valhalla is the brand’s first-ever series production mid-engine hybrid supercar. Specifically, it uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo hybrid V8 engine mated to a dual-clutch transmission. The aforementioned transmission is directly linked to an electronic rear differential and an electric motor, providing the vehicle with an all-electric range of 14 kilometers. 

At maximum, the Aston Martin Valhalla can produce up to 1,064 horsepower and 1,100 Newton-meters of torque. 

According to the Gaydon-based carmaker, the Valhalla can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in just 2.5 seconds. It also has a top speed of 350 kph. 

As the British marque previously shared during its initial introduction, only 999 examples of the Valhalla will be made.
