BYD Cars PH opens latest dealership in QC

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines, under the distributorship of ACMobility, has inaugurated its newest dealership facility in Metro Manila. 

The said outlet is strategically located along EDSA in Balintawak, Quezon City. Notably, it is the automotive marque’s first-ever dealership along the said road to feature a direct current (DC) electric vehicle (EV) charging station. 

“With this dealership, we are taking a significant step toward making electric vehicles more accessible to consumers in northern Metro Manila,” Chief Executive Officer of ACMobility Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said. 

“Our expanding EV infrastructure and comprehensive lineup of electric mobility options facilitate a smoother transition to electrified mobility, making it easier for everyone to embrace a greener future,” Zobel de Ayala said. 

Like the BYD Experience Hub, which opened back in September of this year, the new outlet along EDSA Balintawak is equipped to educate future and current EV owners on the environmental, economic, and performance benefits of electric-powered rides. 

Additionally, the newly opened BYD Balintawak is a part of the brand’s plans to establish a 33-strong network of outlets in the country by 2025. It also opens just in time for the Chinese brand’s 30th Anniversary this year. 

“As BYD celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, we are very excited with the addition of BYD Balintawak into our growing dealer network here in the Philippines,” BYD Philippines Country Head Aiffy Liu said. 

“Strong partnerships with ACMobility and our local dealers ensure our brand’s presence in the country while catering to more Filipinos’ desire for safe, practical and innovative mobility,” Liu added. 

The new outlet showcases the brand’s current lineup, which includes the Atto 3, Dolphin, Tang, Han, Seal, Seagull, and Sealion 6 DM-i.
