Geely PH taps northern Luzon market with Ilocos Sur facility

MANILA: Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) has extended its reach to the northern Luzon market after it opened Geely’s latest dealership in Ilocos Sur.

The 39th dealership in the local Geely sales network, Geely Ilocos Sur— which was soft-launched last March 24 — is set to have its grand opening in June.

Located along the National Highway in Bantay, the new establishment has a 565 square-meter (sqm) showroom and an 880 sqm service center.

In a statement, the Chinese automotive marque’s official distributor in the country said that the addition of Geely Ilocos Sur highlights its commitment to serve the developing automotive market across the country.

"The opening of Geely Ilocos Sur marks a significant milestone in our journey to redefine automotive experiences in the Philippines. We are thrilled to partner with Apex Auto Inc. in this endeavor, as we continue to elevate the standard of automotive excellence across the nation," SGAP President Takeda Naoyuki was quoted as saying.

SGAP also invites customers up north to check out Geely’s local offerings and encourage them to visit the Ilocos Sur dealership which is open from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m.. It also stated that the service operations start from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m..
