Geely to release Farizon V6E in PH?

MANILA: Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) might be expanding its full electric lineup as it will possibly introduce the Farizon nameplate to the local market soon.

Such speculation started after the Land Transportation Office (LTO) released a document pertaining to the brand’s electrified commercial vehicle (CV) line — specifically on the V6E option — and determined its schedule of registration fees or classification.

While the Geely Automotive International Corporation-managed local distributor has yet to formally announce its plans about the aforementioned model, here are some bits of information about Farizon V6E as stated in the memorandum circular VDM-2025-4488.

Vehicle specifications

Based on the technical data dated June 2, the Geely Farizon V6E measures:

The full-electric, six-seater commercial vehicle is powered by an electric motor that can dish out 80.4 horsepower. It is mated to a lithium-iron phosphate battery. Such a powertrain setup allows the vehicle to reach a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour and cover up to 265 kilometers of road.

In markets abroad, Geely’s Farizon V6E is available in two options: Standard and Premium.

Further, it boasts a cube-shaped cargo space that has an inner width of 1,600 mm and can haul around 6,000 liters of cargo.

Among the driver assistive technologies found in the Farizon EV6 overseas are:

• Brake override system
• Electronic stability control
• Acoustic vehicle alerting system

To note, Farizon is a commercial vehicle brand and is wholly owned subsidiary of Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group.
