MANILA: In light of Super Typhoon Inday, which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 3:00 a.m. on June 8, 2026, the government released a list of areas in Metro Manila with a high risk of flooding.

Per the MMDA Public Safety Office, it has also inspected the capabilities of the MMDA Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR). Should adverse conditions hit Metro Manila, HADR’s rescue boats, life jackets, water purifiers, and other emergency response equipment are ready to provide rescue, evacuation, and relief operations as needed.
