JAC PH to unveil all-new LCV at MIAS 2022

MANILA: JAC Philippines will introduce its latest entry into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), which  will take place at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from April 7 to 10. JAC will have a pavilion dedicated to trucks and commercial vehicles in the MIAS North Wing area.

The catchy slogan for the new JAC X100 is aimed towars its target market: “Ang bagong JAC X100 – ang JAC-of-all-trades! X-perto sa kargahan, X-sakto ang konsumo, X-citing ang looks at performance. 100% maaasahan sa negosyo at sa biyahe (The new JAC X100 – the JAC-of-all-trades! X-pert in hauling, X-act fuel consumption, X-citing looks and performance. One-hundred -percent reliable in business and travel).”

Because of its versatility, the JAC X100 is regarded as jack-of-all-trades. It comes in various configurations, including cab-and-chassis, aluminum van, and FB body. It may serve as a delivery truck for corporate needs, as well as a shuttle for employees and a family vehicle on weekends.

When it comes to loading and transporting cargo and passengers, the JAC X100 is a true pro. It has robust and sturdy leaf springs in the front and rear suspension. The torque produced by the powerful turbo diesel engine is 170Nm. The cargo room is large due to the 2.6-meter wheelbase's ability to accommodate a larger FB body, aluminum container, or cargo compartment. It can also easily handle 1,000 kilos or one metric ton.

The JAC X100 combines fuel efficiency with an economical yet powerful 1.8-liter turbodiesel engine and five-speed manual transmission, which is critical in today's soaring gas prices. The Euro 4-compliant engine has an exhaust gas recirculating (EGR) system to reduce pollutants while also promoting increased heat transfer and fuel mileage. The X100's 65-liter fuel tank makes it perfect for long travels, whether for business deliveries or out-of-town travel.

The JAC X100 is also visually stunning. It has a clean aerodynamic facade with flush-mounted headlights, windshield, and door handles. The car-like interior has ergonomic features and controls that are easily reachable. Even on long travels or multiple deliveries, the driver will never get tired on the road, thanks to the X100's light steering, power windows, power side mirrors, built-in front air conditioning, and optional rear air conditioning.

Every purchase of the JAC X100 comes with a three-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty.

The JAC X100 Cab-and-Chassis is priced at P790,000, while the FB Body variant retails for P899,000. Pricing for the Aluminum Van variant is yet to be announced.
