Toyota Motor PH expands full-electric lineup with bZ4X introduction

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially started the retail operations for the all-new bZ4X following the release of units to its first customers locally.

With the launch of the aforementioned model in the country, the vehicle distributor now has the widest range of electrified vehicles (xEV) in the country — with 22 new energy models under Toyota and Lexus.

Prior to its local debut, TMP’s full electric roster is only made up of the Lexus RZ and UX.

Here’s what customers will enjoy with the Toyota bZ4X.

Vehicle specifications

Propelling the vehicle are the two electric motors running on an all-wheel-drive configuration mated to a 73.11-kilowatt-hour Lithium-ion battery.

The mill has the capacity to dish out:

The fume-free drivetrain offers drive modes that include Eco and X-mode.

Outside, the all-new Toyota bZ4X wears angular portions, LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic moonroof.  It also comes with a power back door with kick sensor, as well as a 200-millimeter ground clearance.

For its cabin, the vehicle provides space enough for five individuals, synthetic leather seats with built-in heating (only the front seats have ventilation).

Additionally, the driver's side has an eight-way power chair that can be adjusted based on memory settings.

• Seven-inch digital meter cluster and Multi-Information Display
• 14-inch infotainment system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Dual wireless charging ports in front
• USB Type C chargers in the front and rear

Further, the all-new BZ4X is fitted with the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver assistive technologies, such as:

•         Pre-Collision System
•         Automatic High Beam
•         Adaptive High Beam System
•         Lane Tracing Assist
•         Lane Departure Alert
•         Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
•         Blind Spot and Panoramic View Monitors,
•         Digital Inside Rearview Mirror

Offered in a single option, the all-new Toyota bZ4X’s pricing starts at P2.699 million.
