Ford Mustang Mach-E tops BEV list in JD Power 2026 U.S. EVX Ownership Study

MANILA: The Ford Mustang Mach-E led the battery electric vehicle rankings in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience (EVX) Ownership Study.

In a statement, the Blue Oval marque’s local arm shared that the full electric sport utility vehicle scored 760 points out of 1,000.

Ford Philippines President and Managing Director Pedro Simoes expressed pride over the said citation.

“A recognition like this matters because it reflects what owners feel every day—how confident they are behind the wheel, how easy the vehicle is to live with, and how seamless the overall experience is,” he said.

“The Mustang Mach E embodies Ford’s commitment to deliver an electric vehicle that’s unmistakably fun to drive, thoughtfully designed with the customer in mind, and supported by the kind of ownership experience our customers deserve. As interest in electrified mobility grows in the Philippines, recognitions like this testify to Ford’s global commitment in bringing products and experiences that fit today’s lifestyles,” he added.

The company also mentioned that the study's result highlights its commitment to improving customer experience as global demand for electrified mobility grows.

To note, the J.D. Power EVX Ownership Study gathers feedback from EV owners after they complete their first year.

Their customer experience journey is measured based on the following criteria:

• Driving enjoyment
• Range accuracy
• Charging convenience
• Cost of ownership
• Vehicle quality and reliability
• Effective of customer education and guidance related EV

Here are some notable details about the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Running in all-wheel-drive configuration, the emissions-free crossover is powered by two electric motors that can dish out 388 horses and 676 Newton-meters.

It also comes with three drive modes (Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle) to meet varying driver preference.

Aside from that, the crossover can cover 550 kilometers (based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure.

Inside, the vehicle provides occupants with its host of creature comforts, which include:

• 10-way power-adjust front seats
• 60:40 split-folding rear seats
• Front and rear center armrests
• Wireless smartphone charging pad
• Bang and Olufsen sound system with subwoofers
• Electronic parking brake

Meanwhile, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is equipped with nine airbags, an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability program, traction control, as well as front and rear parking sensors.

Complementing these are the following advanced driver-assist systems such as:

• 360-degree view camera
• Adaptive cruise control
• Collision mitigation system
• Lane keeping system
• Blind spot information system
• Driver impairment monitor
• Rear-cross traffic alert
• Reverse brake assist

Available in Glacier Gray, Star White, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, and Grabber Yellow, the vehicle is priced at P3.499 million — packaged with an eight-year battery warranty and a three-year vehicle warranty.
