MANILA: Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) is set to introduce the updated Nissan Kicks e-POWER sometime in August 2026. This comes a few months after being showcased at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show.

Notably, NPI’s official website now has a special subsection where one can set a reservation for the upcoming Kicks e-POWER. The brand also revealed some initial specifications for the upcoming crossover.

The upcoming Nissan Kicks e-POWER is likewise said to boast the brand’s ProPilot suite of advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS), with its Intelligent Around View Monitor and Rear View Monitor highlighted as crucial confidence boosters in every journey.
As of this publication, Nissan’s local arm has yet to show the full specifications and features list of the updated Kicks e-POWER. The company has also kept mum with regard to its price range for the Philippine market.

Propelling the upcoming Nissan Kicks e-POWER is an electric motor that is supplied with energy by a 1.5-liter inline-three gasoline engine. The said engine functions as the model’s generator, whereas its permanent magnet synchronous motor drives its front wheels via a single-speed gear reduction automatic transmission.

Some noteworthy interior features of the Thai-spec Nissan Kicks e-POWER include a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a seven-inch digital gauge cluster. The model’s main display comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while topping up devices inside the vehicle is done via USB ports and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
Everyone inside, meanwhile, is kept comfortable by an automatic air-conditioning system, leather-upholstered seats, front and rear armrests, and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat.

The Thai-spec version of the Kicks e-POWER also has the e-Pedal Step, which delivers a true one-pedal driving experience via its regenerative braking system.
