The launch of this seven-seater SUV in the Philippines market was moved to 2021 by MG. According to the reports, this first-ever 7-seater SUV from MG features a body-on-frame construction that puts it against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest. The RX8 will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre gasoline engine that will make 221 PS of power at 5300 rpm and 360 Nm of torque between 2000 to 4000 rpm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed auto transmission with cruise control and paddle shifters. In terms of features, the RX8 might feature a lot of advanced creature comforts just like its siblings in the market.
