Lamborghini models showcase capabilities at Livigno winter landscape

MANILA: Lamborghini has returned to the ice ring in the picturesque Livigno landscape. Lamborghini clients looking for the world’s best venues for winter sports vacations got behind the wheel for a three-day Accademia Neve. The perfect setting of ice and snow to test the capabilities of the Huracan series and Urus Super SUV is provided by freezing temperatures of around zero degree during the day and plummeting to around -10 degrees at night.

The grueling driving experience on snow and ice — the “black runs” of Lamborghini’s Accademia program — provided clients with the perfect alternative to the lost winter seasons of the past two years and the pleasure of being accommodated in the area’s best hotels and restaurants.

The driving activities were spearheaded by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse drivers, who ensured that each participant maximized the capabilities of Lamborghini cars in the winter sports setting. The four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering Huracan EVO and Urus flawlessly accomplished each exercise on the demanding mountain ice course, while the rear-wheel drive Huracan STO provided high-octane race-oriented control.

High performance combined with cold conditions is not new to Lamborghini anymore. Cryotherapy is part of the standard training program for Lamborghini factory drivers. The Lamborghini pilots at Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy benefit from sessions using the latest training machines, capable of monitoring posture and performance in real time, accompanied by a personal trainer.
