Lexus Sport Concept unveiled at The Quail

MANILA: Lexus has revealed a concept vehicle of what is possibly the successor of the LFA.

The vehicle — named Lexus Sport Concept — was revealed at this year’s “The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering” in Carmel, California.

In a statement, Toyota’s luxury subsidiary shared that the newly-reveal nameplate “signals the way forward for Lexus design” as it is a "progressively styled, future-focused yet truly authentic sports car.”

While waiting for some details to be shared soon, here are some bits about the Lexus Sport Concept.

The newly-unveiled two-door example from Lexus boasts a wide, long-slung stance that “blends dynamic and emotional elements into a vision for a next-generation sports car.”

Zigwheels Philippines is expecting that the Lexus Sport Concept would be one of the (if not the) final transformations of the Lexus Electrified Sport, which was first teased in 2022 and was also seen at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in the United States).

Should this be the case, then the two-seater offering might have the capability to cover the 100 kilometers per hour from rest in around two seconds and have an emissions-free range of more than 692 kilometers.

Expect more details to be shared about the Lexus Sport Concept once it becomes available.
