Lynk & Co 900 to jumpstart PH brand refresh; to arrive within Q4 2026

MANILA: Lynk & Co Philippines, now under the direct management of Geely Motor Philippines subsidiary (GMP), will fire its opening salvo with the introduction of the 900 nameplate in the country.

In a statement, the brand’s new local distributor said that the model—which will lead the brand refresh and roll out a new product lineup locally—will be launched sometime within the final quarter of 2026. 

Without sharing specifics, Lynk & Co Philippines shared that the 900 is its flagship plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) six-seater sport utility vehicle (SUV) positioned to capture the premium mobility segment and further broaden the marque’s reach in the local luxury SUV market.

However, upon checking the company website, the arriving model can dish out around 708 horsepower which allows it to accelerate 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds. Additionally, the model offers a combined range of 1,000 kilometers.

Overseas, the Lynk & Co 900 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine with dual rear electric motors paired with a three-speed electric transmission

Further, the Lynk & Co 900 abroad has the following technologies: 

• Innovative 180-degree rotating second-row seats
• Front and rear 30-inch 6K display screens

Other developments

Relatedly, Lynk & Co forged strategic partnership agreements with dealers in Hangzhou, China following the transition of brand’s business operations last month.

GMP expressed firm belief that the aforementioned development “marks a pivotal milestone in deepening Lynk & Co’s localized development in the market.” 

“Leveraging Geely’s established operational foundation, Lynk & Co will accelerate the construction of its sales and service networks, enhance market responsiveness, and deliver a seamless, high-efficiency automotive ownership experience to local consumers,” the firm mentioned.

The dealer partners that have established partnership with GMP for the Lynk & Co include:

• MG Gateway South Corporation
• Monte Rosa Motors, Incorporated

Per GMP, the operational synergy serves as a concrete application of the "One Geely" strategy in the Philippines.

“By consolidating regional operating resources and reinforcing cross-brand coordination, Geely will further elevate its overall operational efficiency and market competitiveness, providing strong support for the long-term growth of its portfolio brands in the Philippines.” 

As Lynk & Co further integrates into Geely’s local operating system in the Philippines, the brand will harness Geely's market expertise, channel resources, and operational capabilities to deepen collaboration with dealer partners. This synergy aims to speed up retail and service footprint expansion, broaden brand coverage, and boost operational efficiency.

“The Philippines is a vital market for Lynk & Co. This partnership further solidifies the foundation for our long-term growth in the country. Moving forward, we will work closely with our dealer partners to continuously refine our sales and service infrastructure, driving steady and sustained development,” Geely Auto International Corporation-ASEAN RHD Business Unit General Manager Evin Ye was quoted as saying.

Looking ahead, Geely Philippines noted that it will fully integrate the resource advantages of both Geely and Lynk & Co brands, continuously escalating strategic and localized investment in the Philippines to deliver high-value, personalized, and exceptional mobility experiences to more Filipino consumers.
