Suzuki PH expands Ertiga Hybrid; adds GLX Sport trim

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines (SPH) just created a two-trim lineup for the Ertiga Hybrid with the introduction of the GLX AT Sport variant.

Providing versatility with a touch of ruggedness, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX AT Sport comes with exterior accessories straight from the distributor. Its price:

Here’s what to find in the newly-introduced trim under the lineup, which is currently priced at P1.199 million.

Vehicle specifications

Giving it a distinct look from the once sole option GLX AT, the GLX AT Sport is outfitted with the following portions:

• Front under spoiler
• Side under spoiler
• Rear under spoiler
• Rear upper spoiler
• Suzuki Sport emblem

The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX AT Sport is only P21,000 more expensive when compared to its standard version. 

Further, the specific variation is only available in Magma Gray Metallic body color.

Aside from that, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX AT Sport is equipped with the same powertrain found in the nameplate’s sole option: a four-cylinder, 16-valve, 1.5-liter, gasoline-fed engine (K15B) with the marque’s proprietary 12-volt Hybrid system. This set-up can deliver:

Power is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission while the motor gets its power from a 0.72 kilowatt-hour battery.

Stopping power still comes from the combination of disc and drum brakes at the front and rear, respectively. Meanwhile, its suspension system comprises McPherson struts and torsion beams. 

Outside, the vehicle is fitted with:

• Halogen headlamps with follow-me-home function
• Three-dimensional LED rear combination lamps with vertical guide light
• Power-folding, electronically adjustable side mirrors

Moreover, its cabin has the following amenities:

• Three-spoke multifunction, electronic power steering wheel
• Digital multi-information display
• 10-inch infotainment system

Lastly, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX AT Sport is equipped with the host of safety and driver-assistance technologies namely:
