Major rollbacks set for diesel, kerosene; increase for gasoline

MANILA: Major rollbacks for diesel and kerosene are set to give motorists a sigh of relief. 

According to the Department of Energy, fuel players will cut the cost of diesel by P12.94 per liter and kerosene by P15.71 per liter. 

On that note, the estimated price range of diesel will be anywhere between P75.93 per liter to P101.96 per liter or P82.36 per liter to P107.06 per liter for diesel plus. 

Meanwhile, kerosene will cost anywhere from P125.39 per liter to P147.98 per liter.

As for gasoline, it will increase by P0.53 per liter — resulting in a price range of anywhere from P79.79 per liter to P104.93 per liter for RON 97 gasoline; P73.53 per liter to P103.42 per liter for RON 95 gasoline; and P72.53 per liter to P96.93 per liter for RON 91 gasoline. 

The said price changes will happen from April 28 to May 4, 2026, and the estimated price changes are for those living in Metro Manila and highly urbanized areas, per the agency.
