Maxus PH unboxes feature-packed D90 7-seater SUV

MANILA: Maxus Philippines has officially launched the all-new D90, a competitively priced and feature-packed sport utility vehicle (SUV) that delivers agility on the road.

In a release, Maxus said the vehicle comes with convenience components and lifestyle elements that offer occupants peace of mind and comfort in every ride.

The seven-seater SUV presents a spacious cabin with paddle shifters, 12-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, eight speakers, keyless entry and push start, cruise control, leather seats, 12-way power seat for the driver, 60:40 recline-and-slide seat with center armrest and easy entry function on the second row, and 50:50 recline and fold-flat third-row seating. The D90 4x4 variant is equipped with additional premium features such as an eight-way power seat for the front passenger, an all-terrain system with differential lock for better driving control, and a power tailgate.

The D90’s striking exterior is designed with a standard sunroof; LED headlights, tail lamps, and daytime running lights; and 19-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle has a 2,950mm wheelbase, making it one of the largest in its segment.

The Maxus D90 is powered by a bi-turbo intercooled direct injection diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The D90 4x4 Premium AT’s powertrain churns out maximum power output of 216ps and a maximum torque of 480Nm. Meanwhile, the turbo diesel on the D90 4x2 Premium AT variant generates 161ps and a maximum torque of 375Nm.

To ensure the safety of occupants, the D90 is loaded with features that include front and rear parking distance control, front airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags, reverse camera, rain-sensing wipers, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stabilization program, traction control system, roll movement intervention, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, driver fatigue monitor, and tire pressure monitoring system.

Like all other Maxus models, the D90 has been suffused with 125 years of British heritage and expertise in light commercial vehicles (LCVs). It is distributed in the Philippine market by AC Motors, the automotive distribution and retail group of Ayala subsidiary AC Industrials.

Every purchase of the all-new Maxus D90 comes with a five-year/ 100,000-km warranty (whichever comes first), a periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule which starts after the first six months or 5,000 km, then once a year or 15,000 km (whichever comes first), and a 24/7 emergency roadside assistance (ERA).
