Mazda Koeru Concept based SUV can soon be a Production Model

MANILA: Yes, you read it right. We are taking about the same Mazda Koeru concept that was showcased by the company at the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show. And now as per company sources, we can soon see a production version of the same at the showroom near us.

Until now Mazda was busy taking feedbacks from the customers if they will like seeing Mazda's new concept sometime soon on roads. Analyzing which they now feel it's a good time to start production of the same and add a gem to its SUV line-up. As per internal sources, this new Mazda beast will be a replacement of the age old Mazda CX5. And will carry a completely new design language, making it different and unique from the rest like Mazda CX 9, Mazda CX5 and Mazda CX3.

Mazda SUV line-up will get a hype if the said concept someday becomes ready for sell to general public. According to Masamichi Kogai, CEO Mazda, the latest Mazda Koeru creation will be totally new car and will feature a lower stance than it existing crossover line-up. Aimed to give great driving pleasure with sporty feel and close to wagon like experience.

As for competition, the Mazda's new car will be competing against the recently launched Subaru Outback and for now, the company is interested in seeing how Subaru's new fighter does on the fields.

Taking about Mazda MX 5 replacement, the car will carry a long array of attractive features that will include, a sky active power train, sharp muscular arches, and bold contour lines allover car's length. Dimension specification was also disclosed by the company and read as 4600 x 1900 x 1500 in mm (l x w x h) with a wheelbase of 2700 mm.
