Mini Philippines opens flagship showroom in BGC

MANILA: The opening of Mini Philippines' largest showroom in the nation adds spice to the holiday season. The showroom is the only Mini dealership in Metro Manila with after sales services, lifestyle and lounge areas, and future-ready amenities, and it is situated in the thriving Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

After a brief stint in Eastwood City, Willy Tee Ten, President of Mini Philippines, declared that Mini BGC is now the company's permanent residence in Manila. It has new designs and amenities that are consistent with the new corporate brand of Mini Global in addition to being the largest Mini showroom in the nation for the enjoyment of Mini aficionados.

Spanning 753 square meters, Mini BGC can house up to four display cars, has a large spacious area to receive guests, and a roof deck that serves as a venue for Mini activations and events. For customers, a wide variety of merchandise is available for purchase from the Mini Lifestyle Collection, such as luggage, shirts, jackets, and more.

For those customers looking to give their favorite rides some care and attention, the new Bonifacio Global City showroom has a service center to handle quick services, while more extensive jobs will still be conducted at the service factory.

Finally, as sustainability is the name of the game, the showroom will be equipped for the future. Electric vehicle charging points will soon be installed to support cleaner and greener energy use for the good of the environment.

Currently on display at the new Mini BGC showroom are the following models: 2023 Mini Cooper S 3-Door Resolute Edition, a special edition with a Rebel Green body color alluding to the brand’s racing days and a distinctive Resolute Bronze detailing; 2023 Mini Cooper S 3-Door; 2023 Mini John Cooper Works Convertible; and 2023 Mini Cooper S Countryman.

The 2023 Mini Cooper S Resolute Edition’s exclusive design and equipment have boosted the appeal of sustainable driving. The Mini Cooper Resolute Edition boasts a sporty look that highlights the brand’s British roots, with a body finished in Rebel Green — formerly reserved for high-performance John Cooper Works models — and contrasting Pepper White for the roof and exterior mirror caps.

The deliberate lack of chrome accents on the exterior gives a glimpse into the future. The signature design features are coated in exclusive Resolute Bronze — including the headlight surrounds, radiator grille, rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels, and the door and tailgate handles. The surrounding band at the lower edge of the windscreen, the inner frame of the radiator grille, the brand emblems, and the model inscription are all finished in piano black.

The Resolute Edition’s unique look is further emphasized by specially designed bonnet stripes. They have a pattern made up of parallel lines with a color gradient that goes between a light and a dark shade of gold.

Inside, with its modern graphic display on the infotainment touchscreen, the latest version of the Mini operating system is developed for quick and uncomplicated control of car functions, audio program, communication, navigation and apps. Furthermore, various digital services are available, including Apple CarPlay, all of which are designed to make driving more enjoyable by providing high-quality convenience and entertainment functions.

As for the 2023 Mini Countryman, it is the largest and most versatile member of the Mini lineup, which offers new driving pleasure and individual flair in the British luxury brand’s signature design.

The new Mini Countryman’s remarkable status in the premium compact segment is based on its exquisitely refined design, appealing additions to the equipment range, and revolutionary operation and networking technology. Its rugged vehicle concept, as well as the roomy and versatile cabin with five seats, makes it an unmistakable all-round talent that inspires typical Mini enthusiasm — not just in daily traffic, but also on long trips and even when traveling along unpaved roads.

With the new Mini Countryman, the British brand’s tradition-steeped conquest of new target groups continues. The Mini Countryman was a trailblazer even in its first iteration. It lays the groundwork for the brand’s successful entry into the premium compact segment as the first model with an exterior length of more than four meters, four doors, a large tailgate, five seats, and all-wheel drive. The Mini Countryman now accounts for nearly 30% of the brand’s new registrations globally.

With the introduction of the current-model generation, considerable improvements in terms of space, versatility, functionality, and ride comfort have been made. The new Mini Countryman is powered with the Cooper S petrol engine with Mini TwinPower Turbo Technology. This engine has undergone substantial improvement and now generates 192hp.

Other features in high-gloss black include the original Mini accessories, such as the Mini emblem and the “Cooper S” inscription in piano black design. Exterior mirror caps and side scuttles in Night Jack design with a gray-black pattern are also available for refit.

The new Mini Countryman blends a customizable interior with a dynamic driving experience. At the rear, there are three seats. The second row of seats can also be used to increase transport capacity. Storage space can be expanded from 450 to 1,390 liters by folding down the rear seat in a 40:20:40 split. With the launch of new options and a wider product range, selective interior modification based on the customer’s personal style has become even more appealing.

Meanwhile, Mini Philippines is offering promos up to P10,000 in its Mini Lifestyle Collection and Original Accessories until December 31, 2022. A Mio MiVue dash cam, MiFold car seat, and preventive maintenance services are available to customers for the first year.
