Nissan PH to participate in upcoming Ironman PH 2024

MANILA: The local arm of Nissan announced that it will participate in the upcoming Ironman Philippines 2024.

Per the Philippine wing of the Japanese car brand, it will compete in the country’s Ironman 70.3 triathlon with three teams, namely the Nissan Brand Ambassador group, the Nissan Employee group, and the Nissan Dealer Principals group.

Included in the competing team are Nissan Philippines brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli, actress Bubbles Paraiso, and Nissan Philippines President Juan Manuel Hoyos.

All three teams will head to Cebu this April to represent Nissan Philippines and the marque’s network of nearly 4,000 dealers and employees, showcasing their relentless dedication and truly personifying the “Adventurers for Life” mentality.

This is what the Nissan brand is all about,” Nissan Philippines’ figurehead Hoyos remarked.

Founded in 2013, the Ironman Philippines triathlon has established itself as one of the most anticipated triathlon races in the country with over two thousand participants from 46 countries, aged between 25 and 60 years old.

This year, the course will include a 1.9 kilometer (km) swim course, a 90km bike segment, and a 21km running track.

The Ironman triathlon offers participants an exciting race with multiple endurance courses that are designed to push its participants to their limits.

Ironman Philippines 2024 will take place in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on April 21, 2024.
