Pagani Huayra Roadster BC costs a whopping Php 175 million

MANILA: Php 175 million is a big sum of money, isn’t it? However, when it comes to your passion, the price hardly matters. Here’s introducing the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, a supercar that boasts a price tag of an insane Php 175 million. While the price is quite astonishing, we bet the devotees won’t mind shelling out the sum at all.

Coming on to the car itself, the Php 175 million Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is essentially a roof-less version of the Huayra BC that was introduced in 2016 by the automaker. The automaker has also stated that the Huayra Huayra Roadster BC was not a straight away conversion and the folks at Pagani have worked hard on refining all the different aspects of the car like its design, performance, and comfort & convenience.

The Huayra BC that was launched in 2016 housed in its arsenal 750 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 1000 Nm. The Huayra Roadster BC, on the other hand, receives a maximum power output of 800 PS and 1050 Nm of peak torque from the same 6.0-litre twin-turbo AMG V12 engine that powered the Huayra BC. The insane amount of power is sent to the rear wheels via an Xtrac 7-speed sequential transmission unit.

At 1,250 kg, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC weighs about 32 kg more than the BC coupe. The Roadster, however, is much lighter in weight than the Huayra and Huayra Roadster models. The increase in weight brings along an increase in power, so we shouldn’t be complaining too much here.

Thanks to the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres and an aerodynamic kit that produces a downforce of 1,000 kg, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC stays planted on the road even at high speeds. Pagani will be manufacturing only 40 units of the Huayra Roadster BC and each of the supercars will cost $ 3.4 million (around Php 175 million), excluding VAT. The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC will step on the podium at the Concours D'Elegance in Pebble Beach, later this year.
