Playmobil releases authentic replica of James Bond’s iconic Aston Martin DB5

MANILA: Playmobil has released an authentic replica of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, which is considered as one of the most iconic cars in cinematic history.

This Aston Martin grand tourer is widely known and loved not just by movie fans, but also by car enthusiasts because of its classic round headlights, striking grille, and perfectly shaped body in shining silver. The Playmobil model showcases the legendary car’s classic elegance and refined details that will surely satisfy every Bond fan.

In the third James Bond film, Goldfinger, Bond meets Auric Goldfinger as part of 007’s job on Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Bond’s quirky enemy is aided by his servant Oddjob and other loyal minions, so foiling their schemes was never going to be easy. Fortunately, Q provides Bond with a customized Aston Martin DB5 to help him defeat the villains. This pairing marks the start of a special bond between the 007 film series and the DB5, which has spanned seven Bond films and over 50 years of cinema history.
