Toyota Motor PH warns buyers vs. unauthorized sales personnel

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is warning the public against individuals selling vehicles above their respective suggested retail prices (SRP).

In an advisory posted on social media, the country's leading automotive distributor encouraged customers to exercise utmost caution regarding fraudulent claims.

The reminder also noted the public's growing interest in the Toyota RAV4 HEV and other models.

“Toyota Motor Philippines and its dealer network reaffirm our commitment to foster fair competition that benefits Filipino consumers. We uphold fairness and equal treatment for all customers; hence, any additional premium on top of the Suggested Retail Price (SRP), for whatever reason, is against our policy and our commitment to customer welfare.”

“We highly encourage all customers to speak with our official marketing professionals for an accurate computation of your purchase and to ensure that transactions are official.”

August 2026 promos

Meanwhile, TMP and Lexus Philippines have crafted promos for the month of August to make their offerings more accessible to clients.

Under Toyota's August Drive Deals, which runs until the end of the month, customers purchasing through full cash payment can maximize their savings with Straight Cash offers, featuring discounts on select vehicle variants.

The Toyota ATIV HEV can be had with savings of up to P80,000, while the Zenix Q HEV can be acquired with a P100,000 price cut.

Meanwhile, the Wigo G comes with straight cash savings of up to P30,000, while the Fortuner Q is offered with a P30,000 markdown.
